Himmelsfeuer or Lightning as her name describes in English, clearly got her sires easy going and sweet personality. Unlike her dominant and somewhat pushy dam, Lightning is much lower on the totem pole and gets along well with most other horses. She does have a tendency to be a bit moody about her food though and will often pin her ears back if you enter her stall while she has her grain. However, she would never bit or kick she just likes to prove that it is hers. Undersaddle she is quite lovely. She is very elengant with great gaits and suspension. She clearly has upper level dressage potential and is showing to have great impulsion from her hind end. She is uncomplicated to ride and does well with and intermediate young rider or amatuer as well as a professional. She will be shown and should move up through the levels quickly and later on will be entered into our elite breeding program.
Comments from Previous Owner, Lora, "In the sky you just can not get angry. The mare always manages, through all her charm to cast a spell. From birth we are totally impressed by her serenity and elegance with which it illuminates the surrounding area. Already she shows fantastic courses and great potential for dressage, which she inherited from her father. This pairing seems to be probably very successful and has created us a horse for the equestrian sport."
